Identity Verification (KYA)

Skyfire uses a single Know Your Agent (KYA) verification that applies to both your buyer and seller agents. Verify once, and both agents inherit your verified status.

Why verification matters

• Trust. Sellers can require verified identity before granting access or accepting payment.
• Access. Some services only issue tokens to buyers who have verified an individual or organization identity.
• Protection. Verified identities are essential for secure transactions, access control, selective disclosure, and Skyfire's Verified Service Guarantee.

How identity appears in tokens

When a seller requires identity, your kya or kya-pay token discloses only the fields that service requires — nothing more. See KYA Token for the exact claims and Identity Fields for the full field list.

How verification works

1. Start verification from the dashboard (Get Verified).
2. Choose a plan — Individual or Organization.
3. Subscribe and pay for the verification plan.
4. Grant consent to share verified fields when a service requires them.
