Know Your Agent (KYA)

Skyfire supports identity verification for both buyers and sellers through a single KYA — Know Your Agent —verification. This optional verification process enables trust across the agent economy by attaching a real-world human or business identity to every agent you control.

Why Verification Matters

Verified buyers can access a broader set of seller services that may require trusted credentials.
Verified sellers display their status publicly on their services in the Skyfire marketplace, increasing credibility and adoption.
Verified identities are essential for secure transactions, access control, and selective disclosure.

✅ Once verified, your identity applies to all of your agents — both buyer and seller agents inherit your verification status.

Tokens & Interactions

Sellers may require specific identity fields from buyers (e.g. name, email, business type).

Buyers respond by generating KYA tokens or KYA+Pay tokens, which securely disclose only the required fields.

If the buyer is not verified to the required level, token creation will fail and the transaction won’t proceed.

How Verification Works

Click "Get Verified on the Skyfire Dashboard.
Choose Your Plan
Skyfire requires a subscription to initiate verification:
- Individual: For users transacting as a person. Typically a personal email.
- BusinessFor companies. Typically a company-issued email.
Subscribe and Pay
You'll be directed to a payment screen to complete your subscription.
Grant Consent & Complete Verification
You can re-verify at any time. Your most recent successful verification is what applies to your agents.
